Hi
It would be nice to have an area here for soundbanks/patches created "with" or "readable" by the Miniak Editor 2.x.
Unfortunalely I'm a completely hopeless preset-junkie... and I usually end up tweaking and controlling already made patches.
So If anyone has created sounds that they feel like sharing... why not link/share them here?
Perhaps there's a little room for a preset area on the forum? ( admins? )
Regards
/JE

We are working on it, but it requires users participation and a bunch of new presets for start up.

Sounds nice...
Lets hope the forum attracts more posters.
Even I could contribute (don't have any usable patches at this moment though). But I would feel kind of silly posting presets amongst professional patchs/banks.
Patches are in my opinion divided into atleast two categories: "Simple/Easy patches" and "Advanced/Pro patches".
Advanced being professional quality, usually a "rich sound" that works over all commonly used octaves. They should incorporate good behaviour from modulation by wheels and knobs, adaptation to keys (sensitivity, key tracking etc) and a good interaction between oscillators and the best possible filter settings.
Simple patches can be sounds that are to be used more statically on certain notes or single octaves.
Simple drone sounds, FX-type sounds, and perhaps also simple pads and basses.
