Uninstall ing & reinstallong ion-editor on a new PC

Hello,
I am selling my alesis ion and the ion-editor is included.
I need to uninstall the program from my PC and the ion buyer need to install it on his PC.
Can my ion buyer simply install the ion-editor on his PC and use the same Serial Number I have got? Or do I need to do another process?
