basic functional problems

I have my micron connected and midi connection seems good.

Mod wheels are working and tweaking a parameter seems OK but

when I hit "request patch" I get (No Ion/Micron available)

What is your MIDI interface model?

This problem is common with Micon and MOTU midi interfaces or some other cheap brands. please check it out on a different interface to narrow down the issue.
